Since I've joined deviantART, quite some people got to know my OC Cherosh Seiphar. But who is he, anyways? I'll now try to explain how everything started, and why he was "born" in the first place.

It began in November 2009, and concerned a forum RPG. The leader of the rp asked two users, namely me and a good friend of mine (on dA known as Temera-Fjera), to create two evil guys. Up to then, the rp had done without them, but what would a proper story be without the dark side? So I gave it a thought... and the result was Cherosh.

I wanted him to be a incarnation of pure evil, so some stereotypical aspects couldn't be evaded. In this case, it would be his outfit, the completely black garments and his black hair. To add a bit more "scary", I gave him light grey eyes, knowing it's really scaring to have to look at such coloured eyes. To indicate his shattered personality on the outside, his skin became scarred with thousands of different marks, every single one being the result of ten years of torture. Well, except of two big ones he got when encountering a werewolf.

Back to his birth: I have to admit I didn't take much longer than half an hour – maybe not even half an hour. But as I began to play with him, I found out just how much fun it was to have a rather twisted, destroyed and somehow resurrected character. He was not only a damn evil one, he was crazy, too. And as I'm a little bit over the mend myself... well, you can guess, can't you?

While a year passed, and the rp was becoming a damn long one (I saved all the posts in a word document, currently almost 900 pages), Cherosh's personality more and more developed. Sure, he wasn't a realistic character in some aspects, but as I was gathering more experience with him, I found out how I can alternate him. Not completely, but to a certain grade allowing me to give him several roles. And as soon as I joined deviantART and introduced him here... Well, everything changed.

At first, I just had Cherosh. The ever-evil, ice-cold halfblooded vampire. But with every rp I play, he changes a little. Just like a human being can't stay the same forever, he is influenced by the many impressions I get while playing an rp. So now, he is a quite variable character, dominant as well as submissive; scary, cute, mysterious, annoying... the possibilities seem to be endless. He proved to be a good pureblooded vampire, a nice human and a charming nephilim.

As I know myself, he won't stay like this, even now. I always find something to add or change, no matter how minor this change is. It's fun to work with him, and as he isn't too old for an OC (not even one and a half years), he surely will need a while longer to become a more solid character. But we'll see.
