It wasn't too unusual for Xu-Yi to see all kind of strange humans, and human-like creatures. Being not exactly human himself, there was no way of evading the strangest species. One thing, though, he surely wouldn't forget too fast. And that was when he met a truely demonic angel.
-*-*-*-
Going home from one of his many fights (this time not having taken too much of a beating, just a busted lower lip and some bruises on his upper body), Xu-Yi noticed a group of males chuckling and whistling at a girl being held firmly by quite a big one. "Why won't you let us have fun with you, little angel? We could teach you the best feeling in the world..."
The wolf growled at the back of his throat, while not really intending to. Should he really get into a fight with a whole bunch of them...? But then, he saw something making him rub his eyes to be sure he wasn't dreaming.
The girl they had held captive surely wasn't helpless.
She owned them all, big time.
Xu-Yi barely could follow her movements as suddenly, her leg kicked back, hitting her captor's groin with precision and, more importantly, force. He immediately released her groaning and practically collapsing on the ground. "You fucking bastards so will pay!"
Though she didn't look like it, this girl surely had some strength. And the way she was fighting! Not only her fists and feet, but her whole body became a weapon. She didn't back away from anything. Head-butts, clawing, and if he wasn't mistaken even some very nasty bites. Only as the seven men all were in quite a mess, she let go off them. Their luck, as the wolf thought to himself with a chuckle. No way this would have gotten better if she had punched and kicked them some more.
The girl he had observed now was occupied with fixing her hair. She wore it in a long ponytail, which swayed around as she turned on her heels – until her grey eyes were right on him. Xu-Yi flinched a little, trying to not blush as he noticed how gorgeous she looked. Even though she was covered in some blood... and... other stuff he didn't want to know about.
She came closer, one eyebrow risen, and a rather questioning expression on her face. "Are you one of them?" With that, her head moved slightly. But Xu-Yi would have understood even without that. "Hell no, I'm none of those morons." the wolf gave back, not able to keep himself from taking a closer look at her. He almost had the feeling of having seen her somewhere before, but then again... he would have remembered someone like her. Especially if it came down to such mad fighting skills.
All of a sudden, she smiled broadly, brushing her thumb along his bust lower lip. "Cute, somehow. Yet hot." The wolf flushed deeply, certainly not having expected this one. She surely had some self-confidence... "Oh, and thanks for not helping. I hate being helped against seven brainless zombies." That, however, definitely had been sarcasm; it was practically dripping from her lips. So she had seen him already... Crap.
But before he could answer, she had nudged him a little, and damn, there was quite some force behind it. "But well, if you would have helped me, then I probably would have beaten you up, too. And of course only by accident." Still more sarcasm, but there was a small smile on her face, too. Which just worsened the blush creeping across Xu-Yi's face. "Heh... you're really cute."
He squirmed away from her, giving her a look which almost was a glare. "Sweet. We got an angry wolf here?" Damn, why did her teasing sound this... suggestive?! "Shut it, you hear me?" Xu-Yi hissed before he could stop himself. She merely snickered, then turned around as someone seemed to call out for her.
"AJ? AJ...! Oh, there you are."
A rather tall male with huge wings had appeared, giving her a swift kiss on the cheek. "Don't you scare me like that again, dear cousine. You suddenly vanished and... who's that there?" It had sounded quite curious, which somehow didn't quite appeal to Xu-Yi. He was feeling like some freak... but if he looked at those two, then he didn't wonder any longer. Though... this girl and such a name? Yeah right...
"Say, Akiva, what did you do out here?" She merely shrugged her shoulders, then whispered something Xu-Yi couldn't understand. "Ah, okay. Well, see you later. But be sure to stay out of trouble this time." With that, the stranger flew away again, soon having vanished in the night sky. "Ah ah ah, I'm not finished with you, wolfie."
They glared at each other, Xu-Yi with a slight sneer on his face. "AJ, huh? Surely a quite unusual name for a girl. If you are one." The grey eyes seemed to turn red (or was he imagining things?) as the female grew angry within seconds."If you weren't in a mess already, I might beat the Hell out of you, wolfie."
Not that he would have doubted that in any way (after all, he had seen her knocking out seven guys), but still, Xu-Yi couldn't help but to tease her. Just because it was so easy. "Aww, come on, you just don't dare to because you know you coul- w-woah, wait!"
Too late, she had already snatched him and pinned him on the ground with ease. To his surprise, he couldn't move an inch, having a... damn hot... chick sitting on his stomach. "One more word, and I rip your fucking tail off. And maybe something else you surely will miss."
Should he really push it further now? It could have gone terribly wrong. But he didn't want to risk anything, so he just forced himself to swallow down some more taunts and flattened back his ears just a little. "Sorry." he muttered, immediately being pulled to his feet again. This chick surely had some mood swings...
"Well then, you really should go home now." She sounded quite like a wise ass, but AJ (was that really her name?!) had shown she was able to take care of herself quite well – and maybe of others too...? Fuck, wherever this thought had come from, there better wouldn't be any more. Whatever.
"Fine, I'll be a good wolf. But only because I don't have a nerve for you getting into troubles." She rolled her eyes, ruffling his hair a little. "Whatever, wolfie. Remember me well, because next time we meet, we should have a little fight. After all, you reek of fighting and blood. Exactly my taste." And with a wink, AJ had turned around and vanished in the night, leaving a flustered wolf. Xu-Yi needed quite some time to get a grip on himself again. This girl would give him quite some troubles still... he just knew it.
